PS Plus series for July 2021 has features A Plague: Tale Innocence, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4and WWE 2K Battlegrounds, Sony announced today. This new list of games will be available for download to PS Plus members on July 6 and will replace June’s offerings.

The most notable inclusion for July is A Plague Tale: Innocence, will only be available for PlayStation 5 (sorry, PS4 owners). This enhanced version of the PS4 game will be presented in 4K and target 60 fps, along with faster load times. Players do not need to purchase the PS4 version of this game to gain access to the PS5 version (unlike PS Plus which includes Final Fantasy VII March). A Plague Tale: Innocence tells the story of two siblings, Amicia and Hugo, as they try to escape deadly soldiers and rats.
Next is Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, a fan-favorite game despite not having a single-player campaign. This game marks the series’ first implementation of the battle royale format with the Blackout mode, which remains popular to this day. With rumors and reports swirling around the Call of Duty game coming out in 2021, Activision’s decision provides Black Activity 4 on PS Plus is well timed.
Final, WWE 2K Battlegrounds acts as an interstitial release, bridging the gap between WWE 2K20 and part of this year. Battle field is a simplified wrestling game with a more video game feel, although it still features many famous WWE superstars such as John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Remember PS Plus subscribers have until July 5 to download Star Wars: The Squad and Activities: Tango no additional costs. (Virtua Fighter V Ultimate Showdown will still be available after the PS Plus games of July arrive.)
