Next Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion, The Siege of Paris, will launch for all platforms this summer at an unspecified date. Valhalla will also get good DLC support in the second year.
This news comes during the Ubisoft Forward event at E3 2021, which contains a lot of new details about the future of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game is receiving several short-term and long-term updates.
The Siege of Paris will include new weapons, abilities, and gear, along with additional enemies to battle. In this expansion, the player will be transported to – you guessed it – Paris, where the main character, Eivor, will meet “important historical figures”. Owners Valhalla’s Season tickets will have access to The Siege of Paris expansion at no additional cost. Or, it can be purchased individually without passing the season.
During the presentation, Karen Lee, senior community developer for Ubisoft Montreal, said: “Although this year will be a very active year for the game, we have been working with many people. more expansion for next year. Something tells me Eivor isn’t done with Odin yet. This marks the first time an Assassin’s Creed game will receive DLC for a second year, as Ubisoft diverges from releasing the series’ annual core games.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla released in 2020 and is the most successful game in the series. It’s unclear when the next main Assassin’s Creed game will be out, but players will have plenty to enjoy until then thanks Valhalla’s post-launch support.
