Back to 4 health carry on The remaining 4 people died legacy, offers a zombie-infested world that requires quick reflexes and perfect communication to survive. Therefore, finding a team you incorporate is of paramount importance – and it’s a task made easy thanks to Back to 4 healthuse cross-platform compatibility.
Whether you’re playing on PC, Xbox One, or PlayStation 5, you’ll be able to party with your friends on any platform. If you want to stick with people on your platform of choice, there’s also the option to turn off crossplay and limit your available pool of players.
Back to 4 health makes it easy to play with friends on other platforms, as crossplay is enabled by default. Whether you’re participating in a PvP match or starting a campaign with three strangers, you’ll have a chance to be paired with friends on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation. A small icon next to their name will alert you to their platform of choice, but other than that, there’s no difference in how they look in-game.
Crossplay gives you a huge advantage in the matchmaking process, as it cuts down on your waiting time as you have more players to choose from. You’ll also want to make sure you have a full pool of real players before starting a match, as bots aren’t nearly as reliable as others.
Invite friends to your game
With cross-play enabled, it’s simple to invite friends from PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X. Just pause your game, open Society and select an open position in your group to pull up a list of available friends. This includes both Back to 4 health friends – friends added through the game on other platforms – and friends list on your particular console.
When Back to 4 health has a strong crossplay system, its cross progression system is not developed. You can now transition from the last generation to the current generation. For example, if you’re playing on Xbox One and upgrade to Xbox Series X, you’ll have access to all of your upgrades and unlocked content. The same thing happens when upgrading from PS4 to PS5.
If you decide you don’t want to use crossplay, Turtle Rock has given you the option to turn it off. Disabling the feature may result in longer matchmaking times – since you’re limiting your existing pool of players – but the option is still there if you want to take advantage of it. Here’s how to turn off crossplay in Back to 4 health:
- Pause your game to open The main menu.
- Navigate to Matchmaking.
- Scroll down Crossplay and convert it to Turn off.
