Speaking in EA Play Live 2021 Spotlight – Future of FPSOskar Gabrielson, general manager of game developer Dice, revealed that old fan-favorite maps will be added Battlefield 2042 along with its new maps. The number of maps that can fit 128 players is quite small, including the Bandar desert from Battlefield 3 and the Golmund Railway from Battlefield 4. Gabrielson also teased about two more game modes coming soon Battlefield 2042 with All-Out War. One of them won’t be revealed until the EA Play Live event on July 22, but the other was briefly described in Spotlight today. The previously teased Danger Zone is a new high-stakes game mode that pits small teams of players against each other. However, Gabrielson emphasized that it is not a battle royale, leaving a lot of questions about what players will be able to expect.
