An intro for Diablo 2: Resurrection at Xbox and the Bethesda Games Showcase at E3 revealed the game’s release date. Diablo 2: Revive will be released across platforms on September 23.
The game was first revealed at Blizzcon 2021 and has been long-awaited by fans of the Diablo series. Diablo 2: Resurrection will be a full HD remaster of the game’s original release as well as its expansion Lord of Destruction. While it varies greatly visually, players can expect the same top-down view that Diablo games are known for.
Today’s trailer for Diablo 2: Resurrection shows the action game, with many characters, each of their own class, slaying the undead with magical powers.
When Diablo 2: Resurrection will be available on multiple platforms, today’s trailer focuses on the Xbox Series X version | S of the game. On Microsoft’s new generation console, players will be able to play games at up to 4K/60fps. Cross-progress will also be made available to anyone playing the game on other platforms.
Diablo 2: Resurrection will launch September 23 for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
