Doom Eternal: All the cheat codes and where to find them

Doom Eternal There is a plethora of collections scattered throughout its levels, albeit a fairly linear shooter. However, cheat codes are easily the most entertaining of the group. Doom Eternal cheat codes let you do everything from getting an infinite amount of ammo to hearing a QuakeCon roar while you’re playing and in this guide we’ll show you how to find them all.

There are a total of 14 fraud codes, 11 of which are scattered across levels. The other two are located in Fort Doom, and the final cheat code is unlocked by fully upgrading your Magistrate suit. If you are looking for all the collections in Doom Eternal, ensure access to cheat codes in advance. Turning a few options on will make the playback levels incredibly easier.

Life adds limitless

Description: Get more lives.

The Infinite Extra Lives cheat code is part of the Hell mission on Earth, in the end. Continue through the mission until you get to the subway. From there, follow the path until you fight the second tentacle demon (monsters that suddenly come out of the ground). Opposite the second demon you will find a crate. Jump on top of it, then follow the path to find the cheat code.

IDDQD

Description: Receive Sentinel Armor for the entire mission.

The IDDQD cheat code appears about halfway of the second mission in Doom Eternal, Cultivation facility. Follow the main path until you have picked up the Super Shotgun. Soon after, you will come to an arena with a series of cages that you have to punch holes in. Do so, and deal with the enemies inside. Then, use one of the bars on either side of the cage to swing onto a pedestal in the center. There you will find the cheat code.

All Runes

Description: All runes have been unlocked.

Probably the easiest cheat code to find, you can get the All Rune cheat code in Fortress of Doom. From the spawning position, go to the attached tower on your left. You will need to spend some Sentinel Pin to unlock it. Inside, you will find a large hole in the wall. Jump out of it and just before reaching the end, rush in to reach a ledge. You will find the fraud code in the hidden room.

Many arguments

Description: All weapons have infinite ammo.

The Infinite Ammo cheat code is pretty easy to find. At Super Gore Nest level, keep moving until you reach the second biggest fight around a hive. Clear the enemies and go to the right side of the nest (when facing from the entrance). You will find a small, beige circle towards the button. Jump towards it and rush into the last minute to break the wall. Inside you will find this cheat code.

IDKFA

Description: All weapons are unlocked and mastered, and all equipment are unlocked.

At the end of the Arc Complex level, you will need to jump from a window, swing from a bar and land in a window across the street. This is right after a massive battle near the Slayer Gate of the level. After landing, you will see a large hole in the floor, with the cheat code very clearly visible. Drop it to get it.

Powerup Mode: Infinite Onslaught

Description: Activates four damage for the entire mission.

At the end of the Mars Core mission, you will need to load yourself in a cannon and fly across the map. Once done, keep moving forward until you reach a room with rocky outcrops and many tentacle demons (very quickly after you land). Instead of continuing to walk straight, head right and drop through the hole in the floor. You will find this cheat code at the bottom.

Silver bullet mode

Description: Stunned enemies instantly die when hit by bullets, explosions, Belch Flames or dart away.

You can find this cheat code on the Doom Hunter Base quest, about halfway through. Follow the main path until you reach a section of the intersecting lasers that you need to pass. Do so and deal with the enemies on the platforms ahead. Once you’re done, hit the green skull to trigger a small cutscene.

There is a small platforming section that follows and at the end you will be asked to jump onto a high cliff (where the target is marked). Instead of performing the jump, climb up and drop through the top hole. You will take the fraud code on the way down.

The suit is completely upgraded

Description: Unlock all perks for the Magical suit.

This is easier to find than it looks. In Fortress of Doom, you’ll see this cheat code on a high cliff near the center of the map. You will probably spot the fraudulent code immediately. The point is to reach it.

In the same room, look up to the right to see some stained-glass windows. One of them should have a red target. Shoot it to spawn a jump pad, then lift up the jump pad to get the cheat code.

Powerup mode: Overdrive

Description: Activate Haste for the entire mission (increased fire and movement speed).

The Overdrive cheat code is located in Taras Nabad, a short way to level up. Continue until you have to solve a puzzle in radioactive water, then continue through the catacombs. Finally, you will enter an arena with a locked door on the other end, near some BFG bullets. Deal with the demons and continue into the next room. On the left you will see a breakable wall. Pass through, and you’ll find this cheat code, as well as a secret gore drive, on the other side.

Starvation regime

Description: Demons will no longer reduce health or armor when they die.

You can find the Hunger Mode cheat code in Nekravol (first part, not second part). Continue through the level until you have to bring a cage to a new area. From there, continue on the main road until you reach a large arena with a single rotating spike in the center. Finish off the enemy inside, and use the handle on the wall to activate one of the chains blocking the main door.

Doing so will also open up another door, which you must keep track of in order to level up. Deal with the Marauder inside, then wait for a gap in the corpse-cage elevator beside the fire. Drop it down and you will find this cheat code.

Party mode

Description: Whenever you destroy a demon body part or get shot in the head, the body part explodes into confetti.

The Group Mode cheat code is one of the few codes that comes out early on a level. You can find it in Nekravol Part II right after the first battle. After dealing with the first large group of enemies, head down the hall, following your target. Finally, you have to drop it down. Instead, hop over to an elevator car stuck to the left, then turn around and look at the wall below where you jumped. There must be a breakable wall there.

Jump down and rush at the last second to break the wall. You will find the cheat code inside.

Instant ringing mode

Description: An attack from bullets, explosions, Flame Belch, or an instant dash caused the devil to stagger. It doesn’t work on the bosses.

The Instant Stagger Mode cheat code is also in Nekravol Part II, at the end of the level. Finally, you will enter an arena where you need to break two titanium chains. Break the shackles, but don’t continue to get over it. Instead, go back and drop down the elevator shaft where you went. Come back right after drop-down to detect a small aisle with cheat codes.

You will die instantly if you fall too far and revive at the top, so don’t worry if you don’t reach it on the first try.

Powerup mode: Berserk

Description: Activate Berserk for the entire mission (10 times more fist damage). Works only on tasks one, two, five, six, and seven.

You can find this cheat code a short way to the final full level, Urdak. Continue through the level until you align the second ring. After that, continue out of the control room on the left and find a small, hidden area on the left. There is a breakable wall there.

At this point, you should know what to do. Jump, jump at the last second and the cheat code is yours.

QuakeCon mode

Description: The fans cheered for you throughout the mission.

Finally, QuakeCon Mode is easy to find but hard to unlock. You will need to fully upgrade your Magical suit to unlock this code. You can easily upgrade the full suit on the first play if you diligently follow the secret areas and find collectibles.

How to use cheat codes in Doom Eternal

“Cheating code” in Doom Eternal not really cheat code. Once you choose a level, you can trigger any amount of cheats you’ve collected for that level. In the task selection screen, press the button beside Cheat on lower (R on keyboard) to open cheats menu. Choose any cheats you want or use Activate All Cheats to activate them. Cheats remain in effect until you disable them.

Note that you won’t find this option unless you’ve unlocked the cheat code.
