Bioware has had a rough few years. After the critical and commercial success of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the studio moved Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem, two games abandoned the tenets of previous Bioware titles under increasing pressure from publishers.
It’s been six years since Investigate, and even though we know Dragon Age 4 is in development, it will be a while before we see it. From Dragon Age 4 release date first trailer for any news and rumors we can find, here’s everything we know about Dragon age 4.
Dragon Age 4 release date
We know Dragon Age 4 is a work in progress thanks to a 2018 Game Awards trailer and some concept art released just a few months ago (more on both in later sections). However, it won’t come for a while. In EA’s Q2 2020 earnings call, Chief Financial Officer and CEO of EA Blake Jorgensen said: “You should assume that there’s Dragon Age there and we’ve talked about it publicly that it’s in the works, and it could come after fiscal year 22… you should assume it’s out there and plans are being made for that product as well as some other products. “
EA’s fiscal year ends on March 31, so with Jorgensen’s statement to investors, we won’t see anything until at least April 2022. That’s the earliest we can get. we will see Dragon Age 4, but the waiting period could extend to March 2023. If nothing else, potential Dragon Age 4 release date all but confirmed that the game will be available on Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC, unlike Dragon Age: Inquisition, launched simultaneously on current and latest generation platforms.
We look forward to seeing Dragon Age 4 again during EA Play 2021, which is expected to take place shortly after E3 2021.
Dragon Age 4 Platform
Summary of some of the work featured in EA Play 2020 – which we’ll talk about next – EA hasn’t released much about Dragon age 4. However, in Gamescom 2020, we took a different look.
Although it’s four minutes long, the behind-the-scenes photos don’t really say anything about it Dragon age 4. Mostly, the video shows Bioware getting closer to its release date. The beginning of the video also mentions next-gen hardware, all but the confirmation Dragon Age 4 Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The video, on the other hand, offers a few glimpses into the gameplay, as well as one specific returning character: Solas. This isn’t necessarily news – Bioware has been quite revealing about Solas being a key character in the next game – but it’s nice to have confirmation.
Dragon Age 4 Trailer
Bioware has introduced the first official teaser trailer for Dragon Age 4 in The Game Awards 2020. The trailer introduces Solas and some of the characters you can play, set against the backdrop of a vibrant, colorful fantasy world.
On the other hand, there was a trailer at The Game Awards in 2018, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at Gamescom 2020. Like most trailers, there’s not much to go on in the trailer, just lacking. a piece of dialogue. said, “So you’ve finally found me. I doubt you’ve got the question.” Accompanying the line was a tag that read: “The wolf of terror arose.” You can check out the trailer below.
We’re diving into some spoiler territory here, so if you want to play Dragon Age: Inquisition before the fourth entry in the series, skip it. The Dread Wolf in Dragon Age refers to the fairy Fen’Harel, with the name “Dread Wolf” appearing a lot in the series. Intruder DLC for Investigate. The legend is complicated, to say the least, and users on Reddit began the lengthy process of tearing down the trailer. In short, Solas, a companion in Investigate, confessed to being Fen’Harel in Intruder DLC. He then explains the risk of the Inquisition becoming corrupted, before the Inquisition is given the choice between stopping Solas or redeeming him. Solas also said the phrase, “I suspect you have questions.”
Of course, we don’t know the plot of Dragon Age 4, but apparently Solas is at the heart of it. Further confirming this, Bioware tweeted a handwritten letter from Solas inviting Inquisitor out for tea to celebrate. Dragon Age: Inquisitionfifth anniversary of.

The other thing the trailer mentions is red lyrium – specifically, a red lyrium idol from Dragon Age II. If you haven’t played the second game, be warned: After finding the idol with Varric and his brother Bartrand in the first level, it poisons Bartrand’s mind. We can clearly see the idol in the center of the mural, so although we don’t know what will happen in Dragon Age 4, it’s likely related to Solas getting his hands on the damaged idol.
Another note from the trailer: It never says “Dragon Age 4,” just simple as that “Dragon Age.” Despite a small detail, Bioware might call this new game just Dragon age – After all, it’s not a title exclusive to the first game in the series.
Game Dragon Age 4
We don’t have any games for Dragon Age 4 but EA has teased some concept art that provides a glimpse of what the game will look like.
During EA Play 2020, amid the hype for next-gen titles, EA studio director Laura Miele said, “Bioware imagines and creates worlds where you become the hero of your story. yourself”, placed in the context of the images below. Although there is no direct reference to Dragon Age 4, Miele talks about Bioware’s “imaginary world”, which is enough for us at least.
If the above pictures are not from Dragon Age 4, they come from some epic fantasy RPG other than Bioware. Assuming we know chúng Dragon Age 4 are in active development, however, it’s safe to assume they come from the fourth entry in the series. Plus, the image clearly shows red lyrium.
Dragon Age 4 Multiplayer
In a Kotaku report, Bioware confirmed that the next Dragon Age game will feature live service elements. This probably comes from EA, who, in previous earnings calls, has continued to stand behind games with a post-launch monetization lifecycle. Following the report, Casey Hudson tweeted the following:
Read a lot of feedback on Dragon Age, and I think you’ll be relieved to see what the team is working on. Stories & amp; focus on the character.
It’s too early to talk about the details, but when we talk about “live” it just means designing a game to continue telling the story after the main story.
& mdash; Casey Hudson (@CaseyDHudson) January 25, 2018
As a Bioware employee told Jason Schreier, “The Age of Dragons game changes more than other games,” so we don’t have a clear direction on direct service elements (even if we in doing so, they will likely change, at least according to Bioware staff). However, out-of-studio reports suggest that they will only focus on multiplayer, with the main, single-player campaign unaffected by microtransactions.
Hudson’s tweet further asserts that the main story has no interference, stating that the direct elements are “to continue telling the story after the main story”.
Dragon Age 4 DLC
EA didn’t talk much about Dragon Age 4, let alone its post-launch plan. However, we doubt that Bioware will work on DLC packs after the final game launches. From Dragon Age: Origins come Investigate, Bioware has backed every title with add-ons and extensions, some of which are crucial to fully understanding the story.
Regarding the arrival of the DLC, it will probably not be long after launch. Dragon Age: Origins received the first post-launch DLC just two months after release and Dragon Age: Inquisition received its first DLC pack four months after launch.
Given the game’s “lively” elements, we could see mission-driven expansions delivered through an in-game story with larger campaign DLCs being released as gadgets. separate add-on. In the past, Bioware has also offered exclusive DLC through partnerships with Newegg, AMD, and others.
Pre-order Dragon Age 4
Pre-orders do not increase for Dragon Age 4 not yet. In fact, we don’t even have a release date. If past releases are anything to go by, Bioware will have multiple versions Dragon Age 4 with various pre-order bonuses.
Dragon Age: Inquisition topped off is the $170 “Inquisitor’s Edition,” which includes a tarot deck, special case, cloth map, full-scale key selector, brush and ink, badge, some coins and a 40 page magazine . It’s been a few years since Investigateand the video game industry has changed a lot, but we hope EA will still release a big, bold collectible release for Dragon Age 4 Packed with pre-order bonus.
