The Assassin’s Creed franchise has become an integral part of video game culture. With 12 major titles in existence, Ubisoft Montreal and Quebec have been expanding the Assassins’ secret society on a relatively yearly basis. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is the biggest game with over 100 hours of content between the base game and current DLCs, but Ubisoft dreams bigger than that.
Assassin’s Creed: Infinity is starting to look like the greatest game of all time. What can fans expect from the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise? Here’s everything we know about Assassin’s Creed: Infinity, including release date, gameplay, multiplayer, etc.
Don’t mark your calendar early. Ubisoft just confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Infinity is in a very early stage of development. We don’t have an official release date, and we will soon. The energy of the Ubisoft team is Valhalla, with another year’s content value planned, including the Siege of Paris and future installments of the game. Hopefully by Christmas 2022, players looking for the current generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S will find one. There is absolutely no reason to believe Assassin’s Creed: Infinity Will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If Ubisoft can accomplish what they set out to do, the older generation consoles won’t be able to handle it.

What we know about Assassin’s Creed: Infinity is Ubisoft’s plan to create the next big live-serve game. The multiplayer in the Assassin’s Creed games only lasts for a short time between Brotherhood and Black flag. Assassin’s Creed: Unity removed the old PvP style and introduced a co-op multiplayer mode that lasted only one game. As of Unity, we don’t have much for multiplayer in the Assassin’s Creed games other than screenshots of players and Valhallarecruitment mechanic.
Live service game is lively and not multiplayer. Ubisoft has a tough decision when it comes to Assassin’s Creed: Infinity – stick to their guns and focus on single-player stories or reshape the formula and focus on multiplayer and co-op?
As a live service game, Assassin’s Creed: Infinity Ideally, there will be many years of DLC planned after launch, with even more planned for another two or three years. Will Infinity meet the bar do GTA DRAW? We’ll have to wait and see.
