Once there, you need to go to the Avalanche base to talk to some members who will point out interesting things. you need to do around town. One of those things is talking to Old Snapper.
Right next to the Avalanche base, you’ll see Old Snapper swinging a sign back and forth. Talk to him – he will be marked on your map – to take on the quest to discover the Happy Turtle Ad Campaign. He’ll give you a list of clues as to where to find the six Happy Turtle flyers scattered around the Slums. Along with the clues, you’ll hear the Happy Turtle jingle whenever you’re near a flyer.
The first Happy Turtle flyer
The first clue says “some kids have hidden one somewhere”, which is the most obscure clue of the lot. Thankfully, this one is easy to follow. Head southeast from Old Snapper to find a group of children playing (still in the Neighborhood). Behind them you will see a stack of cardboard boxes. Smash the boxes to find the Happy Turtle flyer posted on the wall.
Second Happy Turtle flyer
The second clue said “suspended in the air.” This flyer is attached to a balloon in Sector 7 Slums, and you need to use your weapon to pop it out to get the flyer. Head east from the last leaflet and take the first road heading south (still in the Residential Area). Finally, you will see a group of children standing in front of a balloon. Go after the balloon to trigger a reminder to throw your weapon. Throw it, pop bubbles and check the ground for leaflets.
Tuesday happy turtle flyer
The third clue said “near Old Snapper’s friend’s apartment building.” The apartment complex is the motel you sleep in during the main time Final Fantasy 7 remake story. Go there – located in the northwest part of the Residential Area – and go up to the second floor. You will see a sleeping dog at the end of the upper floor, and you have to sneak past it to get the flyer.
Using the boxes, sneak out to the balcony while the dog is sleeping. The dog will wake up every few seconds, so only move up one box at a time. On the third box, wait for the dog to fall asleep again and check the wall next to the box. You will find the flyer there. Time is limited for this challenge, so pay attention to the shape of the dog before moving.
The Fourth Happy Turtle Flyer
The fourth clue said “a cat took one on Culvert Road.” You will find this flyer at the northern tip of the Neighborhood by following a cat there. Yuffie will comment on it, so you know you’re on the right track if you hear the dialog. After tracking the cat, you will arrive at a location where a bunch of cats are messing around with various pieces of trash.
The one you’re looking for is behind some crates in the back of the area. Go behind them to find the flyer.
Fifth Happy Turtle Flyer
This is easy. The fifth clue said “on the town’s bulletin board.” The bulletin board is located on the road leading to the train station in Pillar Plaza. Head towards the train station and stop when you reach the three-way intersection. If this is your first time visiting the area, you will trigger a short dialogue scene. At the intersection, find the bulletin board. The leaflet is pasted there.
Friday Happy Turtle flyertle
The final clue says “near the old Talagger factory”, which tells you exactly where this flyer is. From the last flyer, go through the door with a guard standing by to enter the Abandoned Charm Factory area. You’ll be fighting several hordes of enemies as you progress through the facility. Your goal is to reach a remote area in the southeastern part of the area. There you’ll find two tough enemies that you need to defeat before getting the leaflet.
They are a challenging fight if you are just starting the game. Make sure to equip your Ice Materia before fighting, as that is the enemy’s only weak point. As long as you can attack each of them with Blizzara and follow a sequence of attacks, you should be able to build barricades and take them down. If not, come back to this area once your team grows.
After finding the last flyer, you can teleport back to Old Snapper. Talk to him to complete the quest and earn the Magnify Materia and the Turtle-Tastic bronze trophy.
