The latest series of Fortnite the challenges are here, this time season 7, week 8. For the most part, these challenges shouldn’t cause you too much trouble, as long as you know where you’re going. Arguably the hardest part of the week is capturing the opposing player or the opposing player’s construction. The reason this can cause some trouble is because it’s very situational – and it depends on a bit of luck and skill.
Don’t worry, because we have all the tips to make this challenge as easy as possible. Here’s how to activate enemy players or player buildings Fortnite.
There are several different ways to complete this challenge, but whichever option you choose, you’ll need at least one item. Some players choose to use gas canisters, others shoot cans at gas stations, and many use a simpler method.
By far the easiest way to complete this challenge is to use the fireflies found on the map. The best place to find them is around Weeping Woods, as fireflies tend to favor wooded areas. Explore this place and you’re sure to come across at least a handful of fireflies. Then collect as many as you can (you can keep six in one spot).
Once you have your jar of fireflies, there are several methods you can use to overcome this challenge. The easiest way is to throw it at the opposing player. If you hit them with it, they will catch fire instantly, giving you credit for the challenge. However, this is easier said than done.
In total, you must activate 15 players and/or structures to complete this goal. Alternatively, you can throw a firefly in front of the player in the hope that they will catch it. This is a bit more realistic, although it is unpredictable because the player can be discrete with their movements.
By far the simplest method is to burn the structures. The more you explore, the higher your chances of finding enemy buildings. Especially towards the end of the game, players tend to rely on building structures more, so you will have a lot of opportunities to complete this construction. If you play in Team Rumble, the later stages of the match almost always consist of the player creating huge structures that you can easily burn down, so save those fireflies at the end!
You can also mix and match for this challenge. For example, you don’t need to activate only 15 players or only 15 structures. You can also activate seven players and eight structures to get credits. As long as you have a total of 15 you will be able to complete the challenge.
