Latest batch of Fortnite Challenges will be in season 7, week 5. This week you’ll find a much simpler list than the others in recent memory. There are still some collectible quests here and there, but a lot of your goals can be accomplished by playing wild. One thing that can get you in trouble is destroying computer equipment at satellite stations or the Corny Complex.
Since satellite stations are not marked on the map and neither are the locations of the computer equipment, you may be unsure of where to go. In this guide, we’ll show you everything you need to know about completing this challenge, along with tips for getting through it as easily as possible. Here’s how to destroy computer equipment at satellite stations or the Corny Complex in Fortnite.
There are several computer equipment locations around the map – most are found at satellite stations. The map above (thanks, Fortnite.gg) shows the location of each point containing the computer equipment. Thankfully, you only need to visit one of them to complete the challenge. When choosing one of the locations above, we recommend choosing a location on the outskirts of the map to avoid encountering other players. Make sure you pay attention to the path of the Battle Bus to plan where to go.
The location at Corny Complex is a bit different as it is not a satellite station. Instead, one of the cages has a silo next to it with alien equipment. If you land on the silo, you can easily break in and destroy all the equipment inside without being seen – especially since most players will focus on the discs in the adjacent warehouse.
We also recommend working on this challenge in Team Rumble so you can respawn if knocked out. And as always, work with a team to make this easier.
The term “computer equipment” is very vague and doesn’t necessarily explain what to look for. In this case, each of the places mentioned above has orange screens everywhere and these is what you want to destroy. To complete the challenge, you only need to destroy three of these screens, although it appears that the devices attached to them also count as “devices”. In essence, look for these devices and smash them with your pickaxe, destroying everything in sight. That way, you don’t have to worry about guessing what items count.
After killing three of them, you’ll complete the challenge and earn 30,000 XP for doing so.
