Fortnite Season 7, week 12 has arrived and with it comes a bunch of new challenges for you to tick off your list. While many of the new challenges are relatively simple, you may stumble across a few of them, such as the wildlife hunting challenge. Since this season has mostly turned to the alien theme, many players may have forgotten about the game’s wildlife. Also, creatures don’t seem to appear as much as in previous seasons. As a result, finding some of these creatures can be difficult, but we’re here to help.
In this guide, we’ll show you everything you need to know about completing the latest challenge. This is how to hunt wild animals in Fortnite.
Wild animals are all over the map in Fortnite. The main problem is that these creatures are easy to miss, especially if you’re flying around on a saucer or facing a lot of enemies. The map above (powered by Fortnite.gg) shows the general location of all wildlife. These include wolves, chickens, frogs and boars infected with alien parasites. For the sake of completing this challenge as easily as possible, we recommend landing away from the center of the map. If you stick to the suburbs, you’re less likely to run into another opposing player, which can make completing the challenge much easier.
Another important factor with this challenge is that the animals love to roam around. This means that the map above is not accurate, but only depicts their general location. So if you go to one of those spots where Candlestick there is wildlife, make sure to search within a larger radius in case the creature has moved. We also recommend landing around the loot area so you can prepare to take out the wildlife. We prefer Craggy Cliffs or Misty Meadow, but where you land is up to you.
After you find the creature – boar, chicken, frog or wolf – just deal enough damage to eliminate it. For this challenge, you have to take down five animals, but they don’t have to be in the same match. If you get eliminated before killing five creatures, don’t worry, your progress will continue. Simply launch another match and finish the rest. We recommend trying this in Team Rumble though, so you can respawn if you’re eliminated early.
Once you’ve killed five animals, you’ll get credits for completing the challenge, along with 30,000 XP. This is a great challenge for you to just keep in mind as you play rather than pursue it specifically, as the animals seem so hard to find when you’re looking for them – while they always seem to be. appear if you are not looking for them.
