With the latest set of Fortnite challenges for season 6, week 10, you will probably have an easy time getting through most of them. However, one thing that can cause some problems is destroying an opponent’s structure while driving a modded vehicle. There are a number of moving parts with this one, so you’ll want to do everything you can to prepare for it. On paper, it doesn’t seem too difficult, but some things have to be done right for it to work.
In this guide, we’ll show you everything you need to know about destroying your opponent’s buildings while driving a modded vehicle. Fortnite.
How to modify your vehicle
This challenge is a callback from week 5 of this season. We covered how to modify your vehicle in that guide, but the short version is that you need to find the tires on the map. Using the map above (thanks, Fortnite.gg), you’ll see many locations with tires that you can use to upgrade your car. While there are plenty of areas where you can do this, we recommend visiting one near a high-traffic area so you can prepare for your next move.
For example, the areas around Retail are great because there are several spots nearby that are frequently visited. You will find a tire that you can pick up or a stack of tires that can be destroyed. Either way, you’ll need to pick up the tire and throw it at your chosen vehicle to upgrade it. This will give your car big tires, lifting it off higher ground.
How to destroy an opponent’s building while driving a mod vehicle
So once you’ve acquired a modified vehicle, you should drive around while looking for enemy player-built structures. This is difficult because it is often unclear whether these structures were built by enemies or allies. The most effective way to do this is to keep driving your vehicle while running through any structures you see. With a little luck, you’ll bump into enemy structures and get credit for the challenge.
Also, if you stretch to the later parts of the match, you will almost certainly encounter enemies that will build in front of them for protection. When this happens, dive into the structure they’ve built to gain credibility. You can try this in Battle Royale or Team Rumble. Both have their pros and cons, but we found it easier to finish in Battle Royale because there were more enemies in any given match. This means more opportunities to find their structures around – but it also means more opportunities to take out.
Either way, get through a structure and you’ll earn 24,000 XP.
