The last challenge you will probably try to complete in Fortnite season 7, week 14 is for blowing out tires on IO cars. Thankfully, this part is pretty simple and can be completed quickly as long as you know where you have to go. It also requires you to complete the challenges earlier in the week, which is a prerequisite for this challenge. Once you’ve done those, you’ll be able to dive into this challenge.
In this guide, we’ll show you everything you need to know to get it done with ease. This is how to blow up the tire on the IO car in Fortnite.
The first thing you need to do for this challenge is to find a satellite station scattered around the island. By using the map above (provided by Fortnite.gg) you should be able to know where all of them are. As expected, we recommend visiting the ones found at the edge of the map, which are less likely to be controversial. Whether a satellite station is contested will depend on the Battle Bus’s trajectory at the start of the match, so you’ll have to pick one right away.
What you’re looking for are black four-door cars with the IO logo on the side. There are usually a handful of them at each satellite station, so try to identify them when you land.
We tend to gravitate towards the south side of Misty Meadows because it’s usually a low-traffic area. Either way, pick whichever player you think is best and hope that you don’t run into any other players. To increase your chances of survival, we always recommend bringing a friend along with the challenge in Team Rumble. That way, you’ll be able to respawn if eliminated. Luckily, you only need to blow one tire, even though the challenge description says “tire”. This means that you can quickly rush in to blow up a tire before being disqualified if you’re lucky.
When landing, move towards the vehicle and use the pickaxe to attack the tire. No need to use a gun for this as your pickaxe will do it. However, it should be noted that you can complete this challenge by shooting tires. If you plan to finish the match, you should get the gun even if it’s not necessary. As long as you blow a tire, you will be able to go.
Once you’ve blown a tire, you’ll get credits for completing the challenge, with a reward of 30,000 XP.
