Fortnite Season 7, week 6 is on and as usual it comes with lots of new challenges for you to complete. These new challenges are a bit more complicated than the ones from last week, though they can all be completed with minimal effort. One of the first ways you can try requires you to destroy the device on top of the kidnappers. Even if you’ve played this season regularly, you may not be familiar with the kidnappers and where to find them.
In this guide, we’ll show you everything you need to know to complete this challenge with ease. Here’s how to destroy the equipment on the kidnappers’ heads in Fortnite.
The kidnappers, as the name suggests, are giant flying saucers that appear around the map. Don’t confuse these with smaller test drives. These are giants that fly high and can land. The main puzzling thing with kidnappers is that they spawn in different locations during each match. In the map above you can see three kidnappers: One in Misty Meadows, one in Weeping Woods and one in Lazy Lake. But these spots may not always be home to kidnappers.
The good thing is that you can check your map as soon as the match starts to find out where they are. Just look for the disc icons indicated above to spot them. Once you know its location, do your best to land on it as soon as possible – that way you can move on to the second step. We recommend trying this with a team so they can watch you as you land on the kidnapper’s head.
As you glide overhead, try to find different weapons that may be scattered across the top. If you’re lucky, you and your team will be there alone, but as it turns out, luck isn’t always on your side. That’s why we recommend running to a weapon so you can protect yourself from any opponents that may have joined you. For the actual challenge, you need to destroy three pieces of equipment on the kidnapper’s head. They look like big vents, you can see above.
These items are all located at the top, so you won’t have much trouble finding them. Just kill three of them with your pickaxe and you’ll get credits for completing the challenge, along with 30,000 XP. As usual, your progress goes from game to game, so if you somehow only kill a match or two before being eliminated, you can finish the rest in a single match. individual.
