The newest weapon added to the ever-expanding list in Call of Duty: Warzone is the Marshal, a unique secondary weapon that has some notable properties. This weapon is labeled as a handgun but functions more like a sawed-out shotgun, excelling at close range. It uses shotgun ammo and has a stronger feel than a shotgun. Like other guns in Battlefield, this has to be unlocked, but fortunately the requirements aren’t too difficult. Normally, you can unlock Marshal via Battlefield or Black Ops’ Cold War, gives you plenty of opportunities to get started.
But what are all the ways you can unlock weapons? And which method is easiest? In this guide, we’ll highlight the best ways to unlock a new Marshal weapon, along with our recommended downloads for it. This is how to unlock Marshal in Call of Duty: Warzone.
The least expensive way to earn Marshal is to play Battlefield. We say “least expensive” since Battlefield It’s free, which means you can join and make progress without spending a dime. To do so, you have to get a shotgun kill in 15 different matches. This is actually one of the easier challenges in recent memory, but still there are some suggestions we have for you if you want to earn fast.
If you’re looking to end this matchup quickly, we recommend getting into a Loot match with Sykov or Diamatti and a red dot sighting. Make sure you have your stun grenade (or heart rate monitor, if you’re confident) equipped, along with the Enthusiasm perk, so you spawn with full swag. Go to Storage Town (where much of the action takes place) and take out one of your main players. Then switch to your secondary shotgun to finish off the player with a single shot to the head. Once done, go to the menu to make sure the headshots count and if so, back out of the match. It helps if you stun your enemies first to ensure an easy kill. Repeat this 14 more times and you’ll unlock new weapons with ease.
You can also unlock the Marshal by purchasing it from the in-game store. It is tied to the Powder Keg pack, which costs 1,100 COD Points (or $10 real money). However, we advise you not to do this because it is not too difficult to earn. Plus, if you buy it, you still won’t be able to customize its attachments until you officially unlock it, so save your cash or your COD Points.
The process of unlocking this weapon in Black Ops’ Cold War same as in Battlefield. You need to earn a pistol headhot kill in 15 different matches. If you have the skills, you can complete this challenge in Cold War faster because matches start faster in Battlefield. However, since you can’t take out a single player in traditional multiplayer, you’ll have to rely on your skills to make sure you get rid of headshots, which can be very challenging. . However, if you use the stun skill, you can immobilize the opponent to make the process easier. Repeat this 14 more times and you will earn Marshal on Cold War and Battlefield because they share the process system.
There is also a way to unlock Marshal by playing Cold War Zombies, although it’s not the easiest method. To do so, you will need to kill 30 Disciples while they have at least five zombies under their control, which is very situational. Unless you play Zombies a lot, we recommend staying away from this method as it can take a long time – and eliminating a Disciple with a pistol is no easy feat. If you’re going to use this method, we recommend taking down most of the Disciple’s health with a stronger weapon and then switching to your shotgun to finish them off.
What is the best build to use with Marshal? This is a weapon that works well, especially if you’re going to run Ghost instead of Overkill since it’s designed for close use. Just make sure you carry a medium to long range weapon as your primary weapon to ensure your base is protected. The best build is as follows:
|Bin||Cut 6.5 inches|
Despite the four attachment slots, only two of them are worth using. Marshal is pretty unforgiving as it’s unlikely to take out a player in one shot, no matter how close you are to your opponent. The best way to use Marshal is to dual use it, so you’ll have twice the firepower. Then, fire both shots with one Marshal, leaving the other free in case you need another shot. The Cut Down Barrel increases the weapon’s range and bullet speed, which will increase your kill chance.
Other attachments are not possible in this case. For example, you won’t need an optical lens because you’ll be using two weapons. We strongly advise against using a single Marshal as that is unforgivable. Remember it only takes two photos before it needs to be reloaded, so you’ll absolutely want to carry the second photo with you. For Dragon’s Breath ammo, we don’t recommend it because it reduces the overall damage of the weapon. Sure, it does fire damage, but a lot of the time, this isn’t worth it because the overall damage is lower.
