Nintendo is bringing fans the newest 3D adventure of Kirby, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the opportunity to go back in time and experience the third space adventure for the first time. The next Nintendo 64 title to gain Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack membership is Kirby 64: Crystal Shardsand will arrive on May 20th.
Nintendo Switch Online is a Nintendo membership that allows players not only to play online, but also to give access to a wide variety of classic titles from the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super Nintendo console. The expansion pack brings Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis titles as members for an additional price. This add-on costs more but is becoming a great value considering how much Nintendo has added to it, all inclusive Mario Kart 8: Deluxeof the DLC and Splatoon 2October expansion.
An iconic platformer featuring one of Kirby’s scariest final bosses, Kirby 64: Crystal Shards is the newest title to the member. It joins other available Nintendo 64 games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Banjo-Kazooie, Fox star, fox 64, Paper Mario, Super Mario 64and more.
According to a formal financial results summary interview With Nintendo’s chief executive and representative president, Shuntaro Furukawa, and chief executive officer, Hajime Murakami, Nintendo Switch Online’s expansion pack is doing particularly well with US subscribers. The interview confirmed that due to positive reception, it plans to continue expanding the service. This continued growth could mean more perks beyond added games, similar to what Xbox does with Game Pass.
Nintendo Switch Online Expansion members can witness everyone’s favorite pink ball’s first 3D title via Switch on May 20.
