Just when you think Fortnite unable to add any more superstars, Epic Games decided to add one of basketball’s biggest icons, LeBron “The King” James. LeBron will be joining the item shop for the latest season of the hit battle royale game for two days, July 14, along with his upcoming shoe: the Nike LeBron 19.
Fortnite has recently become more famous for its characters including its realistic battle royale gameplay. Through a series of iconic skins, the battle royale game has added real-life gaming, music, movie, and sports stars. These skins include Ninja, Travis Scott, Major Lazer and now LeBron.
James will come with three variations of his new shoes, as well as many different outfits and bling show off his title of King. Players can also pick up new skins to coincide with his upcoming movie, Space Jam: New Legacy.
An outfit included in LeBron’s icon pack focuses on his pre-match personality, placing him in a collared shirt with a hoodie and jacket as an outerwear. The other pulled him away Space jam got his new Tune Squad jersey. There’s also a pack of Taco Tuesday variations, complete with a matching taco shirt and backpack. Each outfit comes with optional sunglasses.
His kingly gear includes a lion pickaxe, a flying glider, his dance “The Silencer” and a floating crown. Each of these skins comes with a new loading screen featuring the King.
