With PlayStation 5’s release Spiderman: Miles Morales includes a remake of the original game, there’s never a better reason to return to the open world of Marvel’s Spider-Man. If you’re looking to really test your spiderman skills, the toughest are the ones set up by a bad guy called Taskmaster. Supposedly used to test the Spider’s abilities in an elaborate attempt to defeat him, these minigames offer an important bonus: Challenge Token – a currency used to upgrade some Spidey equipment and buy new suits. That means you’ll want to get the Taskmaster’s work done, and moreover, you’ll want to be good at them.
The Taskmaster challenge has three levels: Amazing (bronze), Spectacular (silver) and Ultimate (gold). Amazing levels earn you one token, Spectacular bonus two tokens and you get a total of three tokens when you reach Ultimate. This means doing well can reward you with a bunch of important tokens at once. However, getting those Golds was a serious job, requiring perfect Spider-Man fighting and swinging. We’ve put together a few tips and tricks for completing each Taskmaster challenge type so you can shorten your time to gain Gold and get upgrades faster.

Speed is always the key
The most important criterion you will get on the Taskmaster Challenge is speed. Whether you are defeating enemies, stealth in hiding places, chasing a drone or destroying bombs, it’s all about how quickly you can complete a mission. Other factors affect your score as well, but your main goal should be to get each one as fast as possible.
Bring the right load for the job

Each challenge you face in Spider-Man is of a specific type and requires different skill sets. In particular, for the Battle and Stealth challenges, you can customize Spider-Man’s payload to give you the highest chance of success possible. We talked about in our combat, the suits and mods guide how to equip certain mods and powers, like the Stealth Suit’s Blur ability or any damage-focused power can carry. Giving you a great advantage in completing challenges. Usually, the difference between the Incredible or Spectacular ranks, or the Spectacular and the Ultimate ranks, are just a few points – so equip your awesome matching power and dash through the fence.
Get some tokens and come back

You don’t need Gold in every single challenge to buy all the Spider suits, mods and gear upgrades available in Marvel’s Spider-ManBut you need it on a lot of them. As we mentioned in Marvel’s Spider-Man Look, there are plenty of suits and upgrades to buy, after all. You will get huge advantages by completing various Taskmaster Challenges as you level up and buy new upgrades. As mentioned above, having a combat-specific suit or an upgraded favorite gadget can give you a serious edge, so if you find yourself struggling, give it up. and come back. There are lots of things out there – some are easier than others – but you can go back and get them done after completing Spider-Man’s story. You have to pay to pass the challenge a few times, especially if it involves swinging a rope. Getting acquainted with the area of the city where the challenge occurs and finding the best way to get around can help you win, even if your swinging skills aren’t like Spiderman. Prepare to help! So take your time.
The challenge of placing bombs
Prioritize your goals

We mentioned earlier that the Taskmaster Challenge is all about speed and the Bomb Set Challenge is pattern matching. For each bomb, you will have many bombs to destroy as quickly as possible. The first thing you need to do is determine the nearest bomb and the best route to get there. You will need to get to each as quickly as possible, so keeping the oscillation relatively low is key. Most importantly, start planning the fastest route to each bomb and don’t be afraid to repeat the challenge a few times to try different options. Those Challenge tokens are worth the extra effort.
The bombings were all aimed at precise landing

While both the Bomber Challenge and the Drone Challenge revolve around fast rope swing, they also have different accuracy. One of the places where you can take time to defuse the bomb is to actually get to the locations. Swaying too high as you dive in or land too far from a bomb can slow you down just enough to miss the gold medal. Spidey has a tendency to roll or bounce off objects that might mess with the ability to grab a bomb and throw it as soon as you land. You really need to hold on when entering. Try to land as close to the bomb as possible so you can quickly get it as soon as you hit the ground. You will also want to avoid launching yourself too high as descending from an arc can take a long time. Landing correctly will save you precious seconds.
Crying online while destroying bombs

There’s a quick and unclear way to earn extra points while running bombs. Whenever you throw a bomb, tap the fastest web button possible to shoot as many kills at it as possible. Just press the trigger button to get the highest score as quickly as possible. Each shot adds a few more points although speed is the deciding factor, but every bit helps.
Combat challenge
Use gadgets in combat challenges

One of the other Taskmaster Challenges involves combat, and just like previous runs, speed is something you’ll be judged on. Avoiding damage is paramount, as well as getting rid of enemies as quickly as possible. A good way to accomplish both of those goals is to work hard on your gadgets. Impact networks, line traps and web bombs can quickly sweep down enemies. If you hit them against a wall, they can be immediately defeated. Gadgets will recover when you finish off enemies so don’t be afraid to use everything you have. Since wrapping enemies into buildings is much faster than punching them, try relying on throws and environmental placement to get rid of enemies quickly.
High health is essential to victory

Another way you get judged on combat challenges is Spidey’s health. Avoid blows to score the most points and ideally you want to avoid any damage. This means that avoidance is paramount when you are fighting. Destroy the enemies as quickly as possible but fight well so you don’t get hit. Eliminate enemies with guns and rockets, as they are usually easy to pin to networked walls and they are most likely to cause you the most problems.
Stealth challenge
The trick to stealth is to combine defeats

When it comes to the stealth challenge, you definitely want to take it down at a fast pace. What you will also discover is that the game is keeping track of your combos and higher combos mean better scores. In combat, the number of combinations refers to the consecutive hits you have taken down an enemy without dealing damage. In stealth situations, combos are the number of guys you kill in a few seconds for someone else. It basically means that you want to chain your kills – not just take down the enemy, then move on to the next. Instead, position yourself in such a way that you can annihilate the enemy and strike the enemy quickly, repeating the process quickly. Chasing kills is tough because you need to avoid being spotted, and you’ll need to know which enemies are vulnerable to attack and when. You will get a higher score if you can get multiple enemies at once, so keep an eye out for the chances of getting enemies relatively close together.
Drones challenge
Test your speed

One of the Taskmaster Challenges where speed is no more important is the Drones Challenge. Chasing the drone too close can ruin your chances of success, and more importantly speed in these jobs is accuracy. Since you need to flick through the scouting cameras, drop-off drones to grab them, you’ll have to balance out the drones as much as possible but not without prioritizing information or accuracy. body.
Don’t swing too high

The drone challenge is another situation where overusing it on a swing high could work against you. In general, you want to check your pivots in the middle to push you forward as high arch turns can get you too far where you need to be. It can also cause you to hover in the air for long periods of time resulting in loss of ground and precious seconds. In fact, although you can spend most of the game’s time using Swing Jumps (press X at the end of the swing) to increase speed and height, in Drone Challenges it’s actually easier to be accurate. a little if you don’t jump on most swings. If you need to slow down, use Point Launches to get bearings and move forward with greater precision.
Keep up with your form

The drone challenge offers a bounty based on the trails. In this case, it is the number of cameras you can capture without missing one. Obviously you need to take all the cameras to get the gold level score but you should be careful to check if you have achieved them all on the first pass as this will produce one Combinations bring bonus points. Missing the camera and interrupting is often a good enough reason to start the challenge again.
Face the Taskmaster
When you complete your challenges, Taskmaster will eventually appear to face you directly on the map. He’s coming from nowhere, so you need to try it when this deadly ruthless decides to challenge you to face. This happens twice: the first after you’ve completed his five challenges, and the last after completing all 16. Taskmaster is one of the toughest bosses in the game, maybe even harder than the bosses in the story. The first time you fight it will be a bit easier, but the same advice applies to both.
First, dodge will be your best friend. Taskmaster is extremely aggressive and can drain your health when hit, so staying agile will help you fight. Also, regular attacks will rarely knock him down, but if you can dodge his attacks perfectly, you can sneak in a few hits.
Don’t forget to use the environment to your advantage. You’ll need to use every trick in Spider-Man’s arsenal here, so look for objects that you can web and throw at Taskmaster. It won’t hurt him much, but opens him up for a next combo. If you don’t have enough left to throw at him, fight somewhere else. He will chase you so don’t feel limited in fighting wherever you are.
In terms of utility, the spider drone is best for us. They may give you a moment to step back and use your focus to recover. Speaking of which, that’s all you should focus on in this fight.
In addition to preventing any direct attack, don’t bother looking for this boss. He will shrug your shoulders like paper. This is a battle of attrition. If you are always defensive, time your dodge and just rush in when he has an opening, you will take the lead.
