During the Capcom rollout, we took another look at Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, along with a road map for Monster Hunter Rise for June and July. Both games get new cosmetic options for players. We also know that the trial version of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be released on June 25th.
The Palamute Monstie, a free content update for Monster Hunter’s Tale 2, will be available to download on July 15. Players will now be able to ride a small dog, the companion of Monster Hunter Rise, into battle and fight monsters. Monster Hunter Rise players are also getting a Tsukino armor class for their palico, available to download on June 18.
Road map for Monster Hunter Rise sets out new event quests for players to take on. The rewards for these quests are cosmetic only, but they include wearable sunglasses, black leather pants, new stickers, and new gestures.
Both Monster Hunter games get even more cosmetic options free to download. There will be a variety of cosmetic options for Monster Hunter Rise players dress up as Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin characters and vice versa.
Monster Hunter Rise are also getting new paid DLC. The paid DLC includes new voice packs, animal companion skins, and even more costumes for players. Voice packs allow players to change their character’s voice. The latest bundles include Kagero the Merchant and Rondine the Trader. The latest skins for animal companions allow players to dress and dress themselves in stylish kimonos, as well as change Cohoot into a baby penguin.
