What is hidden?
These mysterious iconic Pokémon are scattered across different areas of the Hisui region. In total, there are 28 Unowns, and only one of them. Again, they should be considered Pokémon that are less like and more like collectibles that just happen to be Pokémon. As such, each of them will always appear in the same position, and either stuck to the wall or suspended from the environment.
Each Unown corresponds to a letter of our alphabet, plus two other letters for the exclamation point and the question mark. Just swapping Unown for English letters, you can read all messages written in Unown.
Your Pokédex can give you some hints on where to hide Unown, but they’re not always the most helpful, especially for those in some hard-to-reach locations. Plus, they’re written in the Unknown alphabet, which means you’ll have to decipher them just to get a general clue. Once you spot a ball, all you need to do is hit them with any Pokéball to catch that ball and add it to your Pokédex. Since some can be overhead or far away, having a Feather Ball is useful to increase your throw range.
Is there a reward for finding all the Unknowns?
Yes and no. Otherwise, you get a perfect Pokédex item for the Unknown by finding them all, but it really is. No bonus items or anything to collect them all; However, a lot of things are locked after completing your Pokédex, so it pays off in that respect too.

How to find all unknown unknowns
These are the positions for all 28 Unknown hides in alphabetical order, with step one respectively for Unknown A, 2 for B, 3 for C, etc., with the Unknown punctuation mark at the end. Again, you don’t have to fight any – just spot and throw Pokéballs at them to add them to your Pokédex. You should also wait to start hunting for all of these until you have a mount capable of flying, as that will cut down on the process considerably.

Step 25: Unknown Y is descending south at Icebound Falls in Alabaster Icelands. The waterfall is frozen, with this Unown stuck in the snow.
Step 26: Our last letter is Unown, Z, located on the shipwreck at Deadwood Haunt in the Cobalt Coastlands. It was hung from the highest mast near the stern of the ship.
