Nacon has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming game, Robocop: Rogue City. Players will take on the role of a genuine Robocop – the half-human, half-machine from the 1980s classic of the same name. The trailer announced that the game will be released sometime in 2023 and be available for console and PC.
The trailer itself doesn’t reveal much about Robocop: Rogue City. The narrative is about how Old Detroit is going bad due to rampant crime and someone or “something” has to restore peace in the city. After revealing the title for this game, we can get a quick look at the cybernetic cop removing a gun from his lap.
Robocop: Rogue City is being published by Nacon, a French publishing house that publishes video games and game peripherals such as controllers, computer mice, and headsets. Nacon was released recently Werewolf: Apocalypse – Earthblood and Roguebook, and also announced Vampire the Masquerade: Swansong at E3 this year.
The game is being developed by Polish game studio Teyon, who developed Terminator: Resistance and Rambo: Video Games. The development team clearly has experience in creating games based on iconic 80s movies, so we can assume it will maintain the feel and aesthetics of the sets. original movie.
The game will be released on consoles and PC, however, there is no specific information on which consoles will be included. We’ll know if this game launches on the last-gen console and for the Nintendo Switch at a later date.
