Rocksteady Studios co-founder and creative director Sefton Hill confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will now launch in the spring of 2023.
Previously, WB Games announced that the developer’s next title Batman: Arkham will release in 2022. But Bloomberg reported In February, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady decided to push Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to 2023. Although fans have widely acknowledged that delay report, WB Games and Rocksteady did not officially comment on the delay until March 23, when Hill tweeted about it.
“We made the difficult decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League through the spring of 2023,” Hill said in a tweet including videos of in-game characters being upset. “I know the delay is annoying but that timing is helping us get the best game possible. I look forward to bringing chaos to Metropolis together. Thank you for your patience. ”
Rocksteady hasn’t released a single game since Batman: Arkham VR in 2016 and hasn’t released an official AAA console experience since Batman: Knight Arkham in 2015.

When Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League won’t launch this year, WB Games is still releasing many games this year. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga launched on April 5th and is shaping up well. Knight of Gothamanother DC video game, coming out October 25. Finally, the controversial new Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy currently has a holiday release window of 2022.
When Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Released in Spring 2023, it will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
