Nintendo has finally revealed the release date for the third installment of the Splatoon series. The company announced, via its Nintendo of Europe Twitter account, that Splatoon 3 will hit shelves and Nintendo’s digital eShop on September 9.
Splatoon 3 Originally announced during the February 2021 Nintendo Direct. Since then, Nintendo has revealed new environments and maps, new weapons like the Crab Tank, the return of Salmon Run, and the introduction of the kaiju salmon.
It is also confirmed that the theme of the story mode is the return of the Mammals. This new mammal theme will introduce a new ink called Fuzzy Ink. A brand new goop slams like a living creature and covers any Inkling that touches it with feathers, immobilizing them. It could also very well be an exclusive story mode, leaving anything out of the multiplayer experience.

Splatoon 3 Not the only Nintendo game with a recent release date. Xenoblade 3 just received a new July release date, pushing it up from its expected September date. That has fans speculating that Splatoon 3 and Xenoblade transaction release date, although there was never an appropriate date before.
To enhance advertising to do Splatoon 3 are bringing to the table, Nintendo is also bringing Splatoon 2 ‘s Octo Expansion DLC for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack members. Expand Nintendo Online Service Subscribers Own Splatoon 2 DLC can now be accessed without having to purchase it as a standalone.
