These giant enemies are difficult to miss once they show up, as they will start attacking as soon as you are within range, so it’s best to prepare a strategy. Even with their large size, you will be surprised at how difficult they are to find if you don’t know where to look.
Where to find Titan in Anthem
There are a number of different operations that require the destruction of Titans, one of which includes crafting the Shield of Dawn. Without any direction, though, simply locating them can be a tricky thing – but we’re here to help.
Play for free
If you’re not playing a quest that involves killing Titans, the fastest way to find them is in the Freeplay. There are several different types of Titan scattered across the map. The first Titans series associated with the “There Be Giants” event took place in anthemlaunch weekend in 2019, but we can still find them well after the event is over. Here are the locations on the map, as well as what the area looks like.
Tarsis Valley
This first Titan is the easiest animal to find and is well positioned for you to fight it if it shows up here. As soon as you exit Tarsis Fort and in Freeplay, head straight east to the Tarsis Valley. Once you’ve reached the Tarsis Valley, look for a tall rock pillar. Titan will be right next to it. However, be warned that the Titan can still attack you with certain abilities if you stand on a pole.
Approach East
This next Titan can be found in the Reach East section of the map, which is pretty easy to locate. Once you’ve searched for the Tarsis Valley area, simply fly east and around any mountain or obstacle until you reach the location highlighted above. During the “There Be Giants” event, this Titan was called Titan Havoc, but the one the player encounters is the Standard Ancient Ash Titan.
Great Falls Gorge
If you don’t find anything at Eastern Reach or Valley of Tarsis, you can try going further north on the map until you reach Great Falls Canyon. Here, there are mushroom-shaped structures that you can stand on when searching and to protect yourself from a fire. The location is also right next to a body of water, if you need to avoid detection or quickly cool your propeller.
Monument Watch
Monument Watch can get a little tricky if you are visiting Titan locations in order. Fly to its just southeastern area near the Emerald Abyss and you’ll see a large lake. Look up at the nearby mountain and you’ll find a portal that will take you into the Monument Watch area. From there, head north until you see large, tall circular pedestals. This is where you can find Titan if it has spawned.
Mission with giants

Getting Corium is easy and there are many ways to do it. You can access Corium from Titans without accessing Freeplay while continuing to go ahead through the main story.
As you approach the “Making Dawn Shield” section of the story, you can choose to talk to Dax or talk to Matthias to continue. We went with Dax and did her quests first, but you should be able to reach Matthias after. Go to Fort Tarsis to speak with Matthias. He asks you to complete a contract and then gives you a variety of quests. During your missions, you will battle Escari and Titans to receive a Corium reward.
Once you execute Titans and Escare, you can request Corium. When you defeat an enemy, you will see Corium literally appear. Corium quantity will take you to the next part of the story. Completing these missions won’t take more than an hour and is easier with more players. You can get the same bonus benefit by defeating Escari the same way you would Titan.
