Xbox Game Pass’ game library will receive a host of other games in September. While other monthly updates to the subscription service tend to focus on AAA releases, here are all both indies. September Update for Xbox Game Pass including established indie hits and unreleased titles that captured their early attention.
Starting September 16, Game Pass users can download a sizable range of indies, including I am a fish, Skatebird, and Super class. Two pretty simple animal themed games, with I am a fish asks the player to help an aquatic pet escape to the ocean, while Skatebird Nature is about a bird that can skateboard. Super nominal, meanwhile, is a perspective-bending puzzle game that requires players to think outside of their typical notions of scale.
Just a few days later, on September 23, a large group of other titles will launch on Game Pass, including the ultra-stylish game. Black, in which players adventure through a shadowed world to guide Sable through an ancient ritual.
Also coming on September 23 is Lost words: Off the page and Tainted Grail: Conquest, a lifelike deck builder filled with grotesque monsters and strange allies. NS Subnautica next part Subnautica: Under Zero will also launch the Game Pass on September 23, taking players from a tropical alien planet to a frozen planet.
As always, a select group of titles will also be leaving Game Pass later this month. On September 31st, Drake Hollow, Ikenfell, Night in the forest, Kathy Rain, and Warhammer: Vermintide 2 all will leave the service. Anyone who isn’t ready to say goodbye can buy any of these titles at a 20% discount.
